The Inspiration
THE FRUSTRATION
In 1999, I was a young mother, nursing my disabled daughter. I kept saying to myself, “when she’s stable, then I’ll have time to do the things I love.” Although I was so grateful for her, my Soul began to slowly suffocate with boredom and frustration at my mundane life, and a desire for something else to fulfil me.
THE REALISATION
Then I realised that my to-do-list of mundane tasks was always going to be there. There was no magic finish line when I was suddenly going to be free to follow my heart and Soul. Only I held the power to stop putting my life on hold, and to choose to weave magic into every seemingly mundane moment.
THE SOLUTION
This was the beginning of my Morning Practice and my devotion to working with the Cycles of Mother Earth and the Wheel of the Year on a daily, weekly and seasonal basis, anchoring my spiritual path into a sacred framework through which I could live a Soul-filled life EVERY day.

It was so beautiful to do the Imbolc Immersion actually over Imbolc. What an incredible journey! My journey with the Wheel of the Year is fairly new, but of course it’s not new to my Soul. Working with the Celtic Goddess Brigit was like re-connecting with an old friend, like a deep remembering, like a home-coming. So much has come through, I now feel like I know who I am deep within.
I spent so many years digging in the dirt, but at some point you’ve got to say, that’s enough, now it’s time for a different way. And that’s what the Imbolc Immersion has done for me – it’s shown me the way out. And that’s the best feeling.
