Samhain occurs on 31 October 2019, the Celtic Festival of Death and Rebirth with the Celtic New Year occurring on 1 November. This is a time for releasing all that no longer serves us into the Samhain fires and rebirthing ourselves through the Tomb-Womb of the Black Goddess. On my Philosophia Wheel, its colour is Black, its totem animal is the Raven and we burn Protection incense herbs of Juniper and Rosemary.
