Honouring the Black Earth Mother Goddess on World Goddess Day!

The first deity in the mythic herstory of humanity was the BLACK AFRICAN EARTH MOTHER GODDESS.

Not a White Father Sky God as patriarchal religion would have us believe.

Today, I celebrate the original Black Earth Mother Goddess. She who birthed all of creation from her Womb.

My prayer this day is that She will be recognised, honoured and respected by our global society as we co-create the New Earth.

For I believe it is only when we collectively transform the way the Divine is perceived, portrayed and described linguistically that society will change the way in which it treats women and especially treats Black Indigenous Women of Colour.

Patriarchal society is built on patriarchal religion’s lie that the Divine is a White Father Sky God – this was a belief promulgated to control the populous, especially women. IT IS NOT TRUTH.

It is an appropriation, manipulation and corruption of humanity’s original mythos, which is that the divine is a BLACK EARTH MOTHER GODDESS who births Her Sun-Son God who then grows to become Her Lover with whom She creates the Sacred Marriage in order to ensure the regeneration of Life on Earth.

On World Goddess Day, I celebrate the Black Goddess in all Her manifestations through the millennia of the Rose Lineage – the Prima Mater, Inanna, Ereshkigal, Ishtar, Asherah, Sophia, the Shekinah, Lilith, Isis, Artemis-Diana, Athena-Minerva, Demeter-Ceres, Persephone-Proserpina, Hecate, Kybele-Cybele, Kali, the Kelle, Ker, Keridwen, Mary Magdalene, the Black Madonna, Morgan le Fay…to name but a few of Her 10,000 names.
