This Venus Day, Friday 26 March, Venus reached Superior Solar Conjunction at 06:58 GMT, passing on the opposite side of the Sun from Earth, before being reborn as the Evening Star and beginning Her slow ascent back from the depths of the Underworld, appearing in the Evening Sky instead of in the Dawn Sky as the Morning Star.
This Solar Conjunction is occurring 2 weeks after the 1st invisible Venus-Moon Conjunction, when we arrived in the Throne Room of the Underworld in my Rose Moon Membership.
Today, we reach the deepest, darkest point of the Sumerian Queen of Heaven Inanna’s descent to meet with her sister Ereshkigal, Queen of the Underworld and the embodiment of her Shadow Self.
It is at this darkest point that Venus and the Sun unite, creating the Sacred Marriage of the Goddess of Love with the Sun King, symbolising the Sacred Marriage between our unconscious and conscious, our Animus and Anima, our Light and Shadow Self.
For it is only when we not only face our Shadow, but when we can forgive and love it back into wholeness, that we are able to begin the journey of rebirth back to our Divine Child Self in the Garden of Eden as an empowered Queen.
It is the Sophianic origin point when the Light of the Goddess of Wisdom is reborn from the Darkness, just like our own unique Soul wisdom is reborn from our deepest shadow experiences.
The last Superior Solar Conjunction in the last synodic period occurred on 14 Aug 2019, the eve of the Festival of the Black Goddess in the Rose Lineage and the Festival of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother, upon which the first Gate of Descent in this current synodic period occurred on 15 August 2020.
I was blessed to spend those final moments in 2019 cradling my daughter Sophia-Mary in the dark, warm, salt waters of the Womb-Tomb of the Black Goddess, at the ancient Sicilian site of the Black Madonna of Tindari, whose statue was found in a cave there beside the ancient Temple of Demeter.
In this synodic period, the Superior Solar Conjunction is happening exactly one week before the Easter Rites, which are inspired by the Rose Lineage Resurrection Rites founded in the Myth of the Descent of Inanna.
This profound alignment is therefore amplifying the energies of death, transformation, resurrection and rebirth that are implicit in the Easter Resurrection Rites during this period of the Spring Equinox.
