THE AVALON ROSE CHAPEL®
HISTORY
I founded The Avalon Rose Chapel®, formerly known as The Glastonbury Gnostic Centre & Chapel before the pandemic forced its services to move fully online, on Beltane 1 May 2018 in Glastonbury.
It was situated in St Dunstan’s House, Magdalene Street, as close as possible to the Lady Chapel of Glastonbury Abbey, which was built upon the site of the original church, referred to by William of Malmesbury as an “old Church built by the hands of the disciples of Christ”.
Many Gnostics believe that Joseph of Arimathea brought Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and her daughter Sarah to Glastonbury with a group of followers after the death of Yeshua, and that they built this church, the first in the British Isles.
The powerful ley lines of Mary and Michael cross near the High Altar in the Abbey, creating the Sacred Marriage of divine feminine and masculine energies, embodied in the alchemical mix of Red and White Spring waters that flow from deep within Glastonbury Tor.
They then weave their way to another sacred mound in the Summerlands called Burrow Mump, where they meet once more. On its way there, the Michael ley line flows straight through the new premises of The Avalon Rose Chapel®, which I was blessed to purchase in 2021.
THE AVALON ROSE CHAPEL®
Charities
For 2 years, the Glastonbury Gnostic Centre & Chapel hosted a programme of events inspired by Gnosticism and the Avalon Rose Lineage, and was open to the public for prayer, run by a team of volunteer priestesses.
The Glastonbury Gnostic Chapel Ltd charitable company also hosted by-donation events such as its Mary Magdalene Feast Day Celebration to raise funds for charity.
Although I was forced to close the premises in 2020 due to the pandemic, I continue to host by-donation events online, such as the Resurrection Rites, to raise funds for charity.

The Healing Womb
The Glastonbury Gnostic Centre & Chapel also housed my art installation ‘The Healing Womb’ with paintings of:
- Hecate – Mother of Loss – Earth (Child Loss)
- Lilith – Mother of Solitude – Air (Childlessness)
- Brigit – Mother of Healing – Fire (Disabled Children)
- Kuan Yin – Mother of Compassion – Water (Termination)
and offered workshops to support women struggling with these forms of ‘womb wounding’.

An IPHM Accredited Training Provider
The Avalon Rose Chapel® is an IPHM Accredited Training Provider, through which I’ve been offering my Avalon Rose Priestess and Practitioner Trainings since 2018, which explore the fascinating weave between the Rose and Celtic Lineages on the Holy Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury, with its rich Early Christian Gnostic spiritual heritage.
