Description

These small willow dreamcatchers are handmade by a grandmother who has attended Native American Pow Wows here in the UK for years. She makes each one by hand to my colour designs using Turkey Marabout feathers and precious stones.

They come in 11 different colours: Violet, Indigo, Turquoise, Pink, Green, Yellow (Pale Gold), Orange (Dark Gold), Red (Russet), Black, White and Silver

“Native American people believe that dreams have magical qualities. That is, they have the ability to change one’s path in life. The night air is filled with both good and bad dreams. It is believed if you hang a dreamcatcher on the wall of your lodge for the good of all who live there, then the dreamcatcher will capture your dreams. The good dreams know the way and slip down the long feather to the sleeper below. The bad dreams, not knowing the way, will become tangled in the webbing and perish at the first light of day.”
