Allow me to guide you on a powerfully transpersonal pilgrimage to Sicily, the Land of the Black Madonna, diving deeply into the history, mythos and energies of the sacred sites of the Rose Goddesses, with my Sicilian close friend and expert tour guide Cinzia, culminating in the celebration of the Festival of Assumption, founded on the ancient Black Goddess Rites of the Rose Lineage.

The annual Rose Goddess Pilgrimage to Sicily takes place from 9 – 16 August 2024
During these 7 days, I will be guiding you on pilgrimage, along with my Sicilian close friend and expert tour guide Cinzia, to all the Rose Goddess sacred sites in Sicily, including visits to:
- The Temple of Venus
- The Archaeological Park of Selinunte
- The Valley of the Temples in Agrigento
- The Temple of Demeter
- The Lake of Persephone
- The Archaeological Site of Morgantina
- The Pool of Venus
- The Sanctuary of the Black Madonna

The pilgrimage is also the perfect accompaniment to the Practitioner Training, which is a 7 module, self-paced online programme, as we visit all the sacred sites of the Rose Goddesses you work with during the training, so that you can have a deeply embodied experience of their energies in the lands where they were worshipped.

The Rose Goddess Pilgrimage led by Annabel, in collaboration with Cinzia, was an utterly magical, healing and profound experience for me, as well as fascinating and enormous fun. There are so many moments from that pilgrimage etched into my heart forever. I feel inspired and connected whenever I remember all that unfolded. I’m so grateful for the connections I made with new friends and soul sisters, and the harmony and ease between us all. Annabel and Cinzia have a really special connection through their shared love and passion for the deep spirit of Sicily and the ancient goddess cultures. Learning about these cultures from a historical perspective whilst also sensing into the deeper mysteries of the Rose Goddesses was deeply satisfying. I think we all felt as though we were walking through a multidimensional field, with memories and impressions from past lives whispering to each of us. PILIGRIMAGE ITINERARY
I intentionally hold the pilgrimage each year on the 7 days when my historical novel The Serpent’s Tale is set in southern Italy, in the village where I lived 30 years ago and was first initiated onto the path of the Black Madonna.
The 9 – 15 August is the most powerful week in the Rose Lineage calendar, leading up to the Festival of the Assumption on 15 August, which is founded on the ancient festivals of the Black Goddesses Cybele, Isis and Diana.
We begin our Rose Goddess Pilgrimage the day after the 8/8 Lion’s Gate, whilst journeying through the BONUS 22-Day Avalon Rose Stargate Immersion until the last day of the pilgrimage.

Join us for this incredibly powerful 7-day pilgrimage to Sicily, as Cinzia expertly guides you through the ancient history of the archaeological sites of the Rose Goddess, and I facilitate a profound transpersonal journey with the mythos and archetypal energies of the Rose Goddesses at their original sacred sites, blessed by the energies of Sirius and Venus.
The whole week was nothing short of MAGICAL. Deeply profound experiences that I am still integrating. To be immersed so deeply with the guidance of Annabel and Cinzia, and the support of other women was nothing short of Divine. From the first evening together, sitting in circle, sharing our stories, hopes and intentions for this week in Sicily together, there was a strong sisterhood bond that grew each day. We were taken on a journey to explore and understand the rich history of the island by Cinzia, our beautiful tour guide and sister, coupled with the deeply transformative guidance of Annabel, with her lived experience and powerful ability to hold space. We found hidden clues to the Rose Lineage in each place we visited, to the point where we felt like we were living inside a film! This week is a moment in time I will treasure, forever changed. I will return again.

No words can adequately describe what happens to a person spiritually when they join a pilgrimage to Sicily with Annabel Du Boulay.
