How Does Coaching Work?

My Coaching sessions involve talking therapy and, where appropriate, the use of transpersonal therapeutic techniques to enable us to work with the different parts of your psyche

Transpersonal means ‘beyond the Ego Self’ and concerns the ‘Higher-Self’ or Soul

The Ego Self dwells in the logical, rational, masculine, conscious left-brain (our Animus) whereas our Higher Self expresses itself through the creative, emotional, feminine, unconscious right-brain (our Anima)

Many of us live our lives dominated by our left-brain and we neglect our right-brain because it also contains the Shadow Self – the pain and fear that we would rather ignore

However, the more we ignore our unconscious, the harder it will try to get our attention – this is when we can become dissatisfied or unwell

My Coaching sessions empower you to work with these different aspects of yourself in order to bring about change and to create the life your Soul desires you to live

The Coaching Process

When you book a 15min Free Call with me using my online booking calendar, I will Skype you to see whether Coaching is right for you

If we decide to work together, you will be able to book a block of fortnightly sessions for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months

During each Coaching session, we will devise a plan of positive action steps to reach your goals

The majority of my clients book a further block of sessions whenever they feel the need to work through a specific issue – I have clients who I’ve been working with like this since 2006

I have a limited amount of private and corporate client spaces available with 2 bursary spaces which are currently taken

Private Pilgrimage

I'm also available for 1:1 Private Pilgrimages in Glastonbury for those of you who would like a tailored, deep immersion into the Rose Mysteries on the ancient Isle of Avalon

Corporate Coaching

I'm also experienced in coaching corporate clients and running group or team-building workshops using a holistic approach, including the use of equine assisted therapy with Livvy Adams of Paintedhorse

Why Work With Me?

I trained as a Transpersonal Therapist (DipTRT), Self-Development Workshop Tutor (DipSDT) and Guided Meditation Teacher (DipGM) in 2006, gaining the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (GQHP) from the GHSC and membership with the GHR

An academic expert in mythology, archetypes and symbols, I combined this knowledge with my transpersonal trainings to create a unique and highly effective way of helping clients to work deeply with their psyche

Since qualifying, I have worked extensively in private practice and in the corporate and voluntary sectors, providing 1:1 therapy and coaching as well as writing and running self-development workshops and courses

From 2006-12, I worked for the UK’s leading mental health charity, running self-development courses and supporting sufferers of severe and enduring mental health difficulties

As part of my own therapeutic journey of self-development, I completed 8 years of weekly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a Professor of Psychology at City, University of London, followed by 6 years of Transpersonal Psychotherapy

I’m a mother of 3 children, 2 of whom were born with life-threatening syndromes and multiple disabilities, who I have nursed through 19 operations – this experience has taught me so much about life
